The fear that the Lord GOD of hosts promises to bring upon the people signifies the righteous anger of God towards those who have turned away from Him. The language used, particularly the phrase "driven out every man right forth," conveys a sense of complete abandonment and exile. This serves as a warning to the people of the consequences of their disobedience and the importance of repentance.
